Vladimir Guerrero Sr. Was known for his right arm.
He played right field and had one of the strongest arms in MLB.
His son, Vladimir Guerrero Jr., ascended the minors as a third baseman but is a first baseman now for the Toronto Blue Jays. That's not a position known for arm strength.
But Vladdy clearly inherited the gene.

In a massive play on Monday night in Game 3 of the World Series, Guerrero Jr. Showed it off.
The Dodgers hit a grounder deep in the hole to shortstop. Andres Gimenez tried a jump throw to first, but it was going to be late.
Vladdy raced in a couple steps to snatch the ball, because he saw that the runner from first, Teoscar Hernandez, was trying to get to third.

And there Guerrero Jr. Was, catching and firing a rocket.
It hit Ernie Clement right in the glove directly into the tag.
It just got Hernandez out.

His father would definitely be proud.
