After clinching the American League East, the Toronto Blue Jays matched up against the New York Yankees in the ALDS. While some teams may come out rusty after a first-round bye in the postseason, Toronto did not.

They combined for 23 runs during the first two games, taking a clear 2-0 lead in the five-game series. However, the Bronx Bombers were able to win Game 3 by a score of 9-6.

This led to Wednesday's Game 4, with the Yankees still facing elimination. Despite throwing a bullpen game, Toronto was able to get the better of the Yankees, beating them by a score of 5-2 and ending their season.

Toronto could not have been happier to beat its division rivals and advance to the ALCS. They have been on the wrong side of these postseason losses the last few years.

The team immediately took a shot at the Yankees, playing Frank Sinatra's "New York, New York" in the clubhouse following the win. Andrés Giménez took the trolling a step further as he was seen doing Steph Curry's viral 'Night Night' celebration.

There is no denying how much joy the team has found in eliminating the Yankees. They now have the advantage of having the next few days off, allowing some players to get some much-needed rest. They will wait to take on the winner of the Detroit Tigers and Seattle Mariners series, and will play the winner on Sunday.
