With what the Toronto Blue Jays have already done this offseason and making the World Series last campaign, fans have to be content.

The Blue Jays have reportedly brought in Kyle Tucker to visit their facility in Florida, and they’ve also been named in other rumors.

That includes extending Vladimir Guerrero Jr. During the season and already signing Dylan Cease to a seven-year, $210 million contract.

As of right now, the Blue Jays are all in, and it doesn’t sound like that’s going to stop anytime soon.

According to the latest from Mark Feinsand of MLB.com, while Ketel Marte can block trades to five teams, the Blue Jays are not one of them. Feinsand also noted that the Blue Jays are among the teams interested in the switch-hitting second baseman.

“All-Star second baseman Ketel Marte appears likely to be moved, even after Arizona signed Merrill Kelly to a two-year free-agent contract. The Red Sox, Blue Jays and Mariners are among the teams interested in Marte, who can block trades to five teams. The Athletic reported those teams are the Athletics, Yankees, Pirates, Giants and Cardinals,” he wrote.

Extending Guerrero, losing in the World Series, then going out and making a move for Cease, and potentially trading for someone like Marte, should have the fan base very excited about the future of this organization.

It remains uncertain if that’s how things will play out, but there’s a lot to like about what Toronto is at least attempting to do.
