There might not be a team more ready to spend big this offseason than the Toronto Blue Jays. Despite the Blue Jays being a clear suitor for many of the top free agents on the board, no movement has happened yet.

Kyle Tucker, Bo Bichette, Alex Bregman, and even names like Cody Bellinger or Ketel Marte are potential options for Toronto. While their markets are slow-moving, there is some building concern for Blue Jays fans.

But a new prediction from ESPN's Jeff Passan is a good bit of news for fans. The Blue Jays, despite a slow-moving market, are predicted to sign one of the top names left on the market this winter.

"But I do think ultimately the Blue Jays will get at least one of the three (Tucker, Bregman, Bichette)," Passan predicted early New Year's Day.

This prediction from Passan is some good news for the Blue Jays. Instead of worrying about a nightmare scenario where all of the top names chose other teams (which Passan didn't rule out), his prediction that they'll get at least one top name is a sigh of relief.

Signing on of Tucker, Bichette, or Bregman is key for the Blue Jays this offseason. While they would have some other options if they miss out on all three, these are their best options this winter.

Tucker has already had a visit with the team at their Florida facility, while Bichette could return, and Bregman has been linked to Toronto as a potential dark horse for the ex-Boston Red Sox and Houston Astros All-Star.

While the Blue Jays are far from guaranteed to get one of these top three free agents, this prediction from Passan, that the Blue Jays will get *at least* one of the top names, is key.

Landing just one of these free agents would be huge for Toronto, but Passan isn't shutting out the potential for multiple of these top three free agents to come to Toronto.

It won't be cheap, but the Blue Jays have the money and have shown a willingness to go all-in this offseason based on their $210 million Dylan Cease signing.

This offseason could get a lot better for the Blue Jays if this prediction comes true. Passan is tuned into the free agent market, and this prediction is a sigh of relief for Blue Jays fans amid a severe lack of rumors.
