The Toronto Blue Jays are excited.
They have officially announced the signing of right-handed relief pitcher Tyler Rogers.
Rogers has signed a three-year deal to bolster the Blue Jays' bullpen, and he does it in a fun way: by throwing nearly underhand.
You see, Rogers is a submarine-style pitcher. You can see the pitching motion in the picture at the top of the article.
To celebrate Rogers' signing becoming official, the Blue Jays broke out an incredible meme:

That's Marge Simpson getting ready for the uppercut.
Or, in other words, that's Marge Simpson getting ready to throw toward home with her knuckles barely scrapping the ground.
There's no evidence of Marge as a groundball pitcher, but there's plenty for Rogers. In this era of strikeouts, that's not his game. But he's still incredibly hard to hit because of his motion, movement and consistency.
The Blue Jays can expect Rogers to age gracefully, because he's not a power pitcher to begin with.
And as of Monday, he's officially a Toronto ballplayer.
