The Toronto Blue Jays have been big spenders this winter, seeing as they've already spent over $300 million on free agents this offseason.

And they're not expected to stop there. Whether it's Kyle Tucker or another top free agent, the Blue Jays are still expected to be in on some of the best players this winter. But with Alex Bregman signing with the Chicago Cubs, things could change.

According to MLB.com's Mark Feinsand, the Blue Jays fans got some good news amid the Bregman signing. Toronto is still among the favorites to land Tucker this winter after the massive Bregman $175 million contract.

"The Blue Jays remain among the favorites for Tucker, with the Yankees, Mets, and Dodgers also in the mix," Feinsand reports.

While this report that the Blue Jays are going to have to contend with the New York Yankees, New York Mets, and Los Angeles Dodgers isn't the best of news, the Blue Jays are still among the favorites.

They've been linked to Tucker for most of the offseason, and now that they've signed Kazuma Okamoto, they're more likely to go with Tucker instead of Bo Bichette.

The other very important note from the interest from these three other teams is that they likely won't have the same strong offer for Tucker that the Blue Jays could put together.

The Yankees are balking at Cody Bellinger's asking price of $32 million per-year over five years, while the Mets are not going beyond three years for most of their free agent targets so far this winter.

And the Dodgers, while always willing to spend, would be more of a fit if Tucker signs a short-term, higher AAV contract.

The Blue Jays are in a great position to sign Tucker this winter, and this report from Feinsand proves it. They're among the favorites still, and even with Bregman now signed, they're still the most likely landing spot for Tucker this offseason.
