George Springer was digging in, and in the postseason, that meant the Toronto Blue Jays had a chance.
They had gotten two runners on with one out in the bottom of the seventh, trailing the Seattle Mariners by two runs.
Springer is one of the greatest hitters in playoff baseball history.
He showed why.
When a pitch hung over the middle of the plate, Springer didn't miss. He launched.
The ball soared high, far and way gone to deep left field.
From down 3-1 to up 4-3, with only six outs for the Toronto bullpen to get.
An epic moment for Springer.

With the home run, Springer moved into a tie for third all-time in home runs in the postseason.
Springer now has 23 playoff homers, the same as Kyle Schwarber.
The record is held by Manny Ramirez, with 29, and Jose Altuve is second with 27.
Springer won't care too much about a specific record board place. He'll just know he took one of the biggest swings of his life.
What a moment in Toronto.
