Ernie Clement wrote himself into MLB postseason history this October.
The Toronto Blue Jays' energetic infielder totaled more hits in a single playoff run than any player in the history of baseball.
The only thing that would've made it better, of course, is if the Blue Jays won that World Series Game 7 in extra innings rather than losing it.
But it was a month-long securing of his name as one of the fan favorites in Toronto.

And that's not all for Clement. He also has a very Canadian way of staying in shape in the offseason.
On a recent podcast appearance with We The Hobby, Clement shared this:
"My best workout is playing hockey... It's really helped me get ready for spring, and it's a big reason why I've stayed healthy throughout the baseball season."

Clement isn't just a mediocre hockey player, either.
He was a star in the sport at Brighton High School just outside of Rochester, N.Y.
Clement played four seasons of varsity hockey, 79 games total. In those 79 games, Clement had 70 goals and 54 assists. In his senior season, he went for 27 goals and 25 assists in 20 games.
As with many of the best athletes in MLB, Clement is quick to credit his athleticism to his multi-sport upbringing.
Clement has some of the best hand-eye coordination in the sport, and he's quick and agile. Hockey couldn't have hurt on any of those fronts.
