The Toronto Blue Jays are headed back to the World Series for the first time in 22 years.
The Blue Jays rallied from down 2-0 and 3-2 in the American League Championship Series against the Seattle Mariners to advance to their first World Series since 1993.
It's been a fairytale run for Toronto in the 2025 postseason, and now they're four wins away. However, the Blue Jays won the ALDS against the New York Yankees and the ALCS against the Mariners without star shortstop Bo Bichette.
Will Bichette be ready for the World Series?
After the Blue Jays won an electric Game 7 in the ALCS on Monday night, Bichette sent a message regarding the World Series in the locker room during the celebration.
"I'll be ready," Bichette said.
That's a positive sign for Blue Jays' fans who've had their star watch from the dugout for the last month-plus.
Bichette was placed on the injured list on Sept. 9 with a left knee sprain and hasn't played since.

The Blue Jays' star started running the bases during the ALCS, but looked to be in discomfort. He's continued to improve throughout the playoffs, but manager John Schneider has not given any indication of whether Bichette will be ready for the World Series or not.
However, Bichette said he's ready. The Blue Jays' shortstop also took batting practice before Game 6, which is another positive sign he's trending in the right direction.
The World Series against the Los Angeles Dodgers won't start until Friday, Oct. 24, so the Blue Jays will have a couple of days before making their decision on Bichette for the biggest series of the year.
