We have seen before across MLB that star shortstops get awarded with the biggest contracts in free agency. Trea Turner, Corey Seager, Willy Adames, and Carlos Correa all got deals worth $150 million+. So what will Bo Bichette, the best shortstop in this year's class, receive this winter?
Bo Bichette is thought to be one of the top free agents this offseason, and it seems as if he'd like to stay with the Toronto Blue Jays, but they'd have to meet his demands, which could be north of $200 million.

Bo Bichette receives $208 million contract prediction
MLBTradeRumors.com recently came out with their annual "top 50 free agents & predictions piece" and Bo Bichette was second on the list, receiving an eight-year, $208 million evaluation.
Bichette's free agency is unique because he is clearly and away the best shortstop in the class. After Bichette, the next best option is Ha-Seong Kim. So the Blue Jays need to retain him, because if they don't, shortstop can be a real troublesome spot for years to come.

On the other hand, Bichette's defense is bad, and there have been reports that he may be near a positional change to second base. Either way, whoever signs him is getting a highly productive bat.
In 139 games, Bichette hit.311 with 18 home runs, 44 doubles, and an OPS+ of 129. He did miss the last month of the season with a knee sprain, and his injury history does draw question marks. But when healthy, Bo Bichette is a hit machine who can also pour in extra base hits as well.
