Josh Naylor is certainly proving he knows how to hit in October.
The Seattle Mariners' first baseman has been one of the top performers for Seattle up to this point, which is now a 2-2 tie in the ALCS with the Toronto Blue Jays.
In fact, Naylor has four games this postseason of at least three hits, joining an exclusive MLB history list.
He is now the sixth player with four games of three or more hits in a single postseason, per @JayHayKid.
The full list:
- Jay Buhner (1995)
- Edgar Martinez (1995)
- Albert Pujols (2004)
- Jose Altuve (2017)
- Randy Arozarena (2020)
- Josh Naylor (2025)
There have been more postseason rounds in this era, making it logical that everyone on the list would be from the Wild Card Era.

The wild thing for anyone tuned in here is that the list is heavily Mariners-based.
Buhner and Martinez both did it in the same year while wearing Seattle colors.
Arozarena is a Mariners player now, too, although when he did it in 2020, he was on fire for the Tampa Bay Rays in that postseason.
Pujols is one of the greatest hitters ever, period.
And Altuve is one of the best playoff hitters of this era.
It's a really cool list for Naylor to find himself on.
The only player on that list who actually won the World Series was Altuve. Naylor will try and join him without involving any trash cans.
