You've got to give Logan Webb credit.
In the moment, he kept quiet. But when the San Francisco Giants star was leaving the field, he let the umpire hear it.
Webb was ticked about a 3-2 pitch call to the leadoff hitter in the top of the second inning on Wednesday night.
The tailing fastball from Webb wound up almost right down the middle. If it was anything, it was up, but it wasn't that up.
The pitch to Rhys Hoskins was ruled ball-4, though, instead of strike-3 looking.
Webb found a way to escape the inning without allowing a run, and as he stepped over the foul line on his way off the field, he turned toward home plate and shouted:
"That's a f—ing strike!"
Webb must've felt good getting that off his chest.
He was also pretty darn right.

Maybe an era is coming soon where Webb could've challenged that pitch.
Or maybe it'll just be robots all around and that call won't ever be missed again.
It'll take a little bit of the amusement away, though, of watching baseball players hold their anger in until they just can't hold it anymore.
