Patrick Bailey put together another solid season for the San Francisco Giants.
A few highlight moments joined a campaign full of reliable work as a catcher.
Heading into an offseason in which he'll be eligible for salary arbitration, Bailey is looking at a decent payday with the Giants.
MLB Trade Rumors' algorithm projects Bailey to get $2.2 million in this run through the arbitration process.
Bailey was the No. 13 overall pick by the Giants in 2020 out of North Carolina State, and although his bat hasn't been incredible, the overall package has been.

Bailey ranked in the 100th percentile in Major League Baseball in 2025 for framing, according to Baseball Savant. That means he was the best catcher in the entire sport at that key skill. He also had a 99th percentile pop time and a 97th percentile called strikes above average.
Even his "weakest" catching skill was an 80th percentile blocks above average rating.
He had a 100th percentile fielding run value, meaning no one in the sport limited runs better defensively than Bailey.
At the plate, Bailey was a .222 hitter with a .602 OPS. He did have the clutch gene, though.
Early in the year, Bailey delivered a walk-off inside-the-park home run.
And later in the year, Bailey hit a walk-off grand slam.
He was the first player to ever do both of those things in the same season.
At 26 years old, Bailey certainly has plenty of value going forward. It'll be interesting to see how arbitration values his immense defensive contributions, but regardless, it's safe to expect him in San Francisco again in 2026.
