The San Francisco Giants have a classic uniform. It hasn't been changed a ton throughout their baseball history.
But on Tuesday, the Giants added a new chapter to their uniform story.
San Francisco unveiled its new City Connect uniforms, and they have an intriguing mix of old and new.
The tops are all-black, with a script 'Giants' across the center in white.
There's plenty of orange accenting, as there is on the traditional uniforms.
But then, there's a bit of a changeup: purple.
The Giants use a touch of purple, along with some blended orange-red, to create a cool outline for the chest script.

It's subtle, yet fantastic.
There may be traditionalists who don't like it, but it's not flashy. It's just the right amount for a cool new tone for the Giants.
