The Philadelphia Phillies will likely have to worry about multiple teams this winter poaching Kyle Schwarber. Schwarber has an argument to be the best hitter on the market, depending on how teams view Kyle Tucker.
While Tucker will receive a significantly higher deal, and rightfully so, due to his age and history, Schwarber has been a better hitter than Tucker throughout the 2025 campaign.
Of course, defense has to be considered, and other factors, but Schwarber has been on one and deserves to get paid handsomely.
Several teams keen on Phillies' Kyle Schwarber
The Phillies have the money to keep Schwarber around, unless they make a play for somebody like Tucker. If that's the case, or he decides to walk in free agency regardless, there should be multiple teams interested.
According to Jeff Passan of ESPN, the Texas Rangers could be one of those teams.
“And although remaining in Philadelphia makes the most sense, enough teams have holes at DH -- looking at you, Texas, San Diego, Atlanta, Houston, Detroit, Cincinnati -- that no amount of labor unrest will cause Schwarber's market to dry up,” he wrote.

After winning the World Series just a few years ago, the Rangers haven't exactly found the same level of success.
They're currently in a position to make the postseason if they play well in the final month of the regular season, but it doesn't seem like they're a lock to make the playoffs like the Phillies are.
Still, Schwarber could be interested in playing in Texas.
The Rangers have proven over the past few years that they’re willing to pay guys, so if money is an important factor for Schwarber, there's a chance he might get what he's looking for with the Rangers.
