Harrison Bader hasn't signed a free agent contract yet.
But when he gets his deal, the former Philadelphia Phillies centerfielder seems likely to get a solid payday.
Why?
The centerfield market is thin.
MLB Trade Rumors released a list Thursday of the remaining free agents who are officially centerfielders, and it's not long:
- Harrison Bader
- Cody Bellinger
- JJ Bleday
- Garrett Hampson
- DaShawn Kerisey Jr.
- Chas McCormick

Considering Bellinger can also play the other outfield spots or first base, Bader is really the only starter-worthy CF on the market.
There hasn't been a ton of buzz about his free agency. Other big names might need to sign first before a team moves down its list to Bader.
But considering how Bader contributed to the Phillies in the tail end of the 2025 season after his trade from the Twins, he should be a valued commodity.
And because centerfield is otherwise a wasteland, expect Bader to do very well for himself.
