The Philadelphia Phillies' offseason is bound to be one of change. Kyle Schwarber, Ranger Suarez, and JT Realmuto are all free agents and could be on their way to a new team.
But their free agents aren't the only players who could be on new teams. Nick Castellanos is likely gone, and Alec Bohm is worth monitoring in trade rumors. He was involved in rumors last offseason, but didn't get moved.
However, this winter might be a bit different. According to Kiley McDaniel and Jeff Passan of ESPN, the Phillies' chances of trading Bohm are no different than a coin flip. IT's a significant update for Bohm, as he's a very possible trade candidate this winter.
Phillies receive coin flip odds for Alex Bohm trade
"Bohm being dealt could depend on the Phillies' other moves." McDaniel and Passan write. "If they miss out on Kyle Schwarber and pivot to Alex Bregman, Bohm is as good as gone. If they spend their money elsewhere, they still could move him and either acquire a stopgap at third or run with top prospect Aidan Miller. In a winter of change in Philadelphia, Bohm is among the likeliest of Phillies not to return."
McDaniel and Passan believe that Bohm is a likely trade candidate for the Phillies this winter, and their predicted trade odds, at 50%, are further evidence that they believe Bohm could be dealt.
Bohm is in the final year of club control and wasn't nearly good enough for the Phillies to justify keeping him if they could find a decent return this winter.

The Milwaukee Brewers, Seattle Mariners, Pittsburgh Pirates, and the Los Angeles Angels are all trade suitors for Bohm if the third baseman is dealt this winter.
In 2025, Bohm hit.287 with 11 home runs and a.741 OPS. While his average is at a solid spot, his power isn't great, and combined with mediocre defense, the Phillies could look to upgrade at Bohm's spot.
The 29-year-old is very likely to be traded this offseason, with a 50-50 chance that he's on a new team by the start of the 2026 season.
Those are great odds compared to other players Passan and McDaniel reported on, and it is an indication that Bohm is a very likely trade candidate this offseason.
