They're pink to match the color of breast cancer awareness.
Players often also wear pink cleats, arm sleeves, wristbands, socks and more.

When did MLB start pink bats for Mother's Day?
It's been almost 20 years. MLB first broke out the pink bats for Mother's Day in 2006.
In 2025, MLB has announced it'll have specially produced Mother's Day videos played in all 15 stadiums in action on Sunday.
What a perfect day for baseball.
