MLB postseason 2019: Complete schedule, how to watch announced image

Playoff baseball is October baseball this year, as MLB's 2019 postseason is set to begin Tuesday, Oct. 1, with the National League wild-card game, and is scheduled to finish Oct. 30 if the World Series goes the full seven games, MLB announced Monday.

The MLB regular season concludes Sunday, Sept. 29, with any potential tiebreaker games to be played the next day and televised on ESPN.

The World Series is scheduled to begin Tuesday, Oct. 22, with Fox handling the coverage.

All 2019 MLB postseason game times will be released at a later date.

The 2019 MLB postseason begins Tuesday, Oct. 1, with the the National League wild-card game.

The National League Division Series is scheduled to start Thursday, Oct. 3.

The American League Division Series is scheduled to start Friday, Oct. 4.

When does the 2019 NL Championship Series start?

The National League Championship Series is scheduled to start Friday, Oct. 11.

When does the 2019 AL Championship Series start?

The American League Championship Series is scheduled to start Saturday, Oct. 12.

When does the 2019 World Series start?

The 2019 World Series is scheduled to start Tuesday, Oct. 22, at the team with the better regular-season record.

How can I watch the 2019 MLB postseason?

The NL wild-card game will be on TBS on Oct. 1. The AL wild-card will be on ESPN on Oct. 2. The two NL Division Series will be on TBS and the two AL Division Series will be on ESPN and MLB Network. The NLCS will be shown on TBS, the ALCS will be shown on Fox or FS1. The World Series will be on Fox.

All games telecast on MLB Network, TBS and FOX will be available to MLB.TV subscribers who are authenticated subscribers to the applicable network through a participating pay-TV provider.
