How long is a rain delay?
An MLB rain delay has no maximum length, though umpires must wait at least 30 minutes to 75 minutes to call a game. The umpire-in-chief has discretion over when to delay or terminate a game due to weather.
While a short delay may only be a few minutes, extended delays of two to four hours are common depending on weather circumstances.
What channel is Mariners vs. Tigers on?
With the delay, Mariners-Tigers has been moved to FS2 in its entirety because of the large overlap Blue Jays vs. Yankees Game 3, which is also on FS1.
The game will also air on MLB Network and the Fox One App.
