The New York Yankees employ four hitters who were once named Most Valuable Player.
But even a lineup with Aaron Judge, Paul Goldschmidt, Cody Bellinger and Giancarlo Stanton, not to mention a bunch of other stars, can go cold.
And boy oh boy, they are frigid.
The Yankees were shut out by the Angels on Tuesday night, 4-0.
And with that defeat, they now haven't scored in 29 consecutive innings. That's three games in a row and some change.
It's the seventh time in franchise history that they've gone scoreless over the span of three games in a row, according to Baseball Reference's Katie Sharp.

They're also closing in on the worst drought in franchise history.
Way back in 1908, New York failed to score for 37 innings in a row.
If the Yankees go scoreless on Wednesday, they'll break that record.
The Angels are throwing Jack Kochanowiz, who was the worst qualified ERA in the American League.
If the Yankees are ever going to score, it'll be against that guy.
But right now, this is bad, really bad.
