The New York Yankees could get Giancarlo Stanton back sooner than expected.

There was a ton of uncertainty only a few weeks ago. Stanton is dealing with torn tendons in both elbows.

But on Saturday, Yankees manager Aaron Boone said that PRP treatments undergone by Stanton have made a huge difference.

The right-handed slugger has resumed hitting indoors, a big step in his comeback.

"It's been a good couple of weeks," Boone told reporters.

Stanton was heroic in the Yankees' run to the World Series, but he never really got off the ground in spring training due to the elbow problems and an unrelated calf issue.

Getting the big bopper back in the lineup could be crucial for New York's chances this season, especially now with Juan Soto playing on the other side of town.

And it sounds like things are looking up for Stanton and the Yankees.
