Yankees' Aaron Judge sets MLB power record before June image

Aaron Judge has, by some measures, had the best multi-month start to a season in MLB history.

The Yankees superstar slugger continued that with a home run and a double on Friday night in Los Angeles.

The homer was his 19th of the season, and the six total bases on the night give him 159 total bases for the season.

No one has ever had that many total bases before the start of June, per NYY Stats.

For the season, Judge is now hitting .392 with a .486 on-base percentage and an OPS of 1.236.

Judge is on pace to break Babe Ruth's 1921 record for total bases in a season, which has never even been seriously challenged.

The Yankees ended Friday night on a sour note after the Dodgers prevailed behind two home runs from Shohei Ohtani.

But as long as No. 99 is wearing a New York uniform, the Yankees will have a chance to do something special.

At this point, Judge does something special almost every night. He also had an exceptional diving catch in the right-center gap at Dodger Stadium in Friday's game, as well.

Don't take for granted just how historic this season has been for Judge.
