We mere mortals have almost nothing in common with Aaron Judge.

But the New York Yankees' 6-foot-7 superstar slugger does have one thing in common with us.

The big fella is absolutely loving the baseball going on right now.

Sure, Judge is entrenched in a heated AL East race with his Yankees, and that's the priority.

But after the Yankees won Wednesday night, with Judge homering twice to get to 51 on the season, he was asked about the playoff race at large.

His answer was very, very relatable, as shared by Bryan Hoch:

"It's unbelievable -- but that's baseball, especially with expanded postseason. You're going to have some moments like this where teams are going back and forth. When I go home, I turn on MLB Network, check all the scores, see what's happening. It's pretty amazing."

Us too, Aaron, us too.

The legendary sluggers are slugging. Cal Raleigh, Kyle Schwarber and Judge all went deep Wednesday night.

The aces are dealing, like in Cincinnati where Paul Skenes and Hunter Greene each put on a show.

And the races are enthralling, from the NL Wild Card to the AL Central and AL East to all sorts of machinations in the AL Wild Card race, too.

Playoff baseball is amazing, but so is this late-September, everything-already-on-the-line style of ball.

It feels like the playoffs have come early, which is about as good as it gets for a baseball fan, and Judge appreciates that, too.
