The New York Yankees walked off the Seattle Mariners in comeback fashion on Thursday night. Judge hit a walk-off sacrifice fly in the tenth inning to win the game.

The Yankees were being no-hit by Bryan Woo going into the bottom eighth inning. The Yankees trailed 5-0 at that point and it seemed like they were about to be on the wrong side of a no-hitter. However, Jazz Chisholm Jr. broke up the no-hitter with a single to start the frame.

The Yankees scored three runs in the eighth and tacked on two more in the ninth inning to tie the game. Devin Williams came on in the 10th inning and left the automatic runner stranded in a three-up, three-down inning. After intentionally walking Paul Goldschmidt, the Mariners walked Trent Grisham on six pitches.

Judge stepped up to the plate with the bases loaded and one out. He hit a ball to centerfield, but not too deep. The play at the plate was close after a stellar throw by Julio Rodríguez. Volpe tagged up and made a terrific slide at home plate to avoid the tag from Cal Raleigh. Judge credited Volpe for his baserunning.

"Happy to definitely steal a win there, especially after the great start (Woo) had," Judge said. "I knew (Volpe) was at third, so the whole thought going into it was get the ball somewhere in the air and let '11' take care of the rest."

Judge seemed awfully confident that anything to the outfield would score Volpe. At first glance, it looked like Volpe was going to be cut down, but his ability to avoid the tag shows why Judge was so confident.
