The Minnesota Twins are coming off a tough season. They finished with a record of 70-92, missing the postseason for the second year in a row.
It was the team's first 90-loss season since 2016, causing the front office to go to the drawing board this winter.
However, Minnesota has not done much in terms of bringing in players to potentially put a better product on the field in 2026. They have made a couple of deals, but nothing that has been league-altering.

Twins' poor offseason grade will certainly frustrate the fanbase
The Biggest move Minnesota has made so far over the winter was acquiring Josh Bell. The two sides agreed on a one-year deal with a player option for the 2027 season.
Outside of that, they acquired Eric Orze in a trade with the Tampa Bay Rays, acquired Alex Jackson in a trade with the Baltimore Orioles, acquired Eric Wagaman during a trade with the Miami Marlins, and signed Orlando Arcia.
Minnesota could desperately use another frontline starter, some help in the bullpen, and an impact bat. So, without filling these holes yet, CBS Sports' Dayn Perry and Mike Axisa give the Twins a failing grade.
"The Twins have neither meaningfully improved the 2026 team nor their long-term outlook, so, year, you get an F. I wouldn't rule out a Pablo Lopez and/or Joe Ryan trade between now and Opening Day no matter what the front office/ownership says."
Minnesota has yet to improve over what they put on the field in 2025, or help bolster their farm system. However, there is still time, and some intriguing players are still looking for a new opportunity for the 2026 season.
They could turn this grade around with a few strategic moves in the few months they have left before catchers and pitchers report.
