It's now or never for the Milwaukee Brewers.
The team with the best record in baseball during the regular season is backed as far against the wall as it can be. The Los Angeles Dodgers lead the NLCS, 3-0. The Brewers have to win four games in a row or they're going home.
To start the rally, the Brewers have tapped veteran Jose Quintana to start Game 4 on Friday night, according to MLB.com's Adam McCalvy. Quintana pitched three scoreless innings on Oct. 8, and before that, his last outing had been Sept. 14.
So it's definitely a choice to put Quintana out on that hill.

Why is Jose Quintana starting for the Brewers?
The Milwaukee Brewers have gone with experience for the most pressure-packed game of their season.
The 36-year old southpaw Quintana has been there and done that to a very full extent in his MLB career.
Is it concerning that he's only pitched twice in the last 35 days? Of course it is.
But the Brewers didn't want to go with another bullpen game. And so it'll be Quintana.

The lefty was still pretty solid this season. He had a 3.96 ERA with an 11-7 record.
Quintana isn't a strikeout guy, with just 89 in 131.2 innings during the regular season.
But he still throws strikes and finds ways to get out.
The Brewers have a long way to go to make some kind of miraculous comeback against the Dodgers.
They trust Quintana to at least give them a fighting chance in Game 4.
