Pat Murphy's son gives perfect answer to why Brewers can comeback vs. Dodgers in NLCS image

The Milwaukee Brewers and Los Angeles Dodgers will play Game 3 of the National League Championship Series on Thursday afternoon in Los Angeles as the Dodgers will look to take a 3-0 series lead, while the Brewers will try to cut into the Dodgers' current 2-0 lead.

During Brewers' manager Pat Murphy's Wednesday press conference, Murphy's son was asked a question and he had the perfect response.

Can the Brewers come back from down 2-0 to the Dodgers?

Pat Murphy's son confident in Brewers' chances

Murphy's son, Austin, was asked if the Brewers can comeback in the NLCS and why, and he nailed his answer.

"Well, the guys respond back really good. Started the season 0-4. Those games were not good," Austin said. "But, then they responded with the best record in baseball. So, I believe they can do it."

The Brewers opened the game being swept by the New York Yankees and then lost the first of three games to the Kansas City Royals. Milwaukee was outscored 47-15 in that four game stretch to start the year.

However, to Austin's point, the Brewers responded with the best record in baseball for the rest of the season. Milwaukee finished the regular season 97-65, with the best record in the MLB.

Although the first two games on the NLCS weren't good for the Brewers, they've bounced back all season long. The only difference? Now they're season depends on it.

The Dodgers will have pitcher Tyler Glasnow on the mound for Game 3 and the Brewers have yet to announce their starter. However, Murphy said on Wednesday that Jose Quintana and Jacob Misioroski are the length options for Milwaukee.

Quintana expects to start, but it may be a scenario of an opener and then Quintana and Misiorowski filling most of the rest of the game. Or, Quintana could pitch the bulk of the innings and Misiorowski could be saved for Game 4.

Regardless, the Brewers offense needs to get going if they want to win a virtually must-win Game 3 of the NLCS.
