Agustin Ramirez has taken Major League Baseball by storm.

Even playing for the Miami Marlins, a place someone could often fly under the radar, Ramirez has stood out for the way he has started his career.

On Wednesday night, he made some history, too.

Ramirez had the second multi-steal game of his career. He already has three multi-homer games.

He's only the third player to have three multi-HR games and two multi-SB games before playing 90 career games, per OptaStats. Ramirez did it in his 89th career game, the same total that Darryl Strawberry did. Duke Kenworthy once did it in 88 games.

After yet another active night on the diamond, Ramirez is up to 24 doubles, 17 homers, 51 RBI and seven steals on the season.

He's batting .243 and doesn't walk much, but he still has a solid .750 OPS.

The 23-year old catcher has been a huge boost for the Miami organization.

The Marlins got him as one of three minor-league players in return for the Jazz Chisholm trade in July 2024 from the Yankees. He had never been a high-ranking prospect up to that point, although heading into this season, Baseball Prospectus ranked him No. 55 in all of baseball, the only service to put him in the top-100.

Ramirez may not be a great defensive catcher, but the bat plays.

The Marlins are playing well in the second half, and even if it doesn't lead to a miraculous rundown of a playoff spot, it's a great momentum boost heading into next season. They have a lot of young talent, including Ramirez, and the future is brighter in Miami than it has been in a while.
