Coming into the 2025 season, the favorite to win the World Series was the Los Angeles Dodgers. It was a full-circle moment for the team as they secured back-to-back World Series titles with an extra-inning win in Game 7 against the Toronto Blue Jays. After the game, Dave Roberts was candid about the toll it took on the players.

“It looked bleak at times, but our guys never wavered... We asked more than guys have ever been asked, and they delivered,” Roberts said.

The Dodgers looked dead to rights heading back to Toronto, but they found a way — which is what great teams always do. LA’s win marked their third World Series title in six seasons, a ratio rarely seen in modern baseball and signaling the start of a dynasty.

“The Dodgers have officially established themselves as a dynasty in MLB. 3 World Series in 6 years. 5 World Series appearances in 9 years. 12 NL West titles in 13 years. First back-to-back World Series champion in 25 years. Next year, they go for the three-peat,” Dodgers Nation’s Noah Camras wrote.

However, after the game, Alex Rodriguez weighed in on the Dodgers’ future. For the rest of the league, it’s a scary prospect, as Los Angeles boasts one of the best farm systems in all of MLB.

“They have the number one system in the Minor Leagues both in pitching and in hitting. They're not going anywhere boys, they're just getting started,” Rodriguez said on the air.

The Dodgers aren’t going anywhere anytime soon. With the highest payroll in MLB and the top farm system, it’s hard to imagine a world where they aren’t competing for a title over the next decade.

LA is already well-positioned to pursue a three-peat. Another big offseason is likely, which will only strengthen the roster. And when waves of veterans eventually retire, the future remains bright, thanks to the depth of talent in the organization.
