The Los Angeles Dodgers had one of the best offseasons, adding Kyle Tucker and Edwin Diaz to an already stacked roster.

But, in the wake of adding Tucker and Diaz, there have been rumors that the Dodgers might still be in the market for another big addition, specifically, a starting pitcher.

According to Doug McKain of Dodgers Nation, Andrew Friedman revealed that the team is not planning to get involved in the starting pitching market this offseason.

McKain revealed that, when asked if the Dodgers are still in the free agent or trade market to add a starting pitcher, Friedman said, "We are not."

It's a clear admission from the Dodgers executive that there is some great news for the rest of the Major Leagues. The Dodgers were already stacked enough as it is, and adding a starting pitcher to join an already great rotation would be overkill.

There have been some rumors linking the Dodgers to the Milwaukee Brewers in a trade for Freddy Peralta, the two-time All-Star coming off a 2.70 ERA season in 2025.

While that would be a brutal outcome for the rest of the Major Leagues, to see the Dodgers land Peralta, there's an even more terrifying rumor floating around.

Tarik Skubal of the Detroit Tigers to the Dodgers wouldn't be that far-fetched. The Dodgers have a stacked farm system, plenty of money to spend, and are clearly willing to do whatever it takes to win a World Series.

While the Dodgers could always come back and surprise the MLB world as they did with Tucker, for now, the rest of the Major Leagues can rest easy knowing that the best team in baseball isn't going to land another starting pitcher.
