Hyeseong Kim has quickly proven that he belongs with the Los Angeles Dodgers.

The star from Korea started the season in Triple-A as he transitioned stateside from the KBO. But since his call-up, he's been absolutely on fire.

His best night as an MLB player came Saturday night at Dodger Stadium as L.A. bludgeoned the Yankees, and Kim was right at the heart of the action.

In the 18-2 win, Kim went 4-for-4 with a double, a home run, two RBI, three runs, and on defense, he turned an unassisted double play (at shortstop) and then had an outfield assist (from centerfield).

He's the first player in MLB history to play a game like that.

Kim has very quickly developed into a fan favorite in Los Angeles.

He's not a big dude, but he packs a punch with his bat. He's lightning quick.

Kim has adjusted to the outfield when needed, too, after playing the infield essentially his entire life.

He likely won't stay this hot forever, but it's quite the welcome to the Dodgers. And if he can play even close to as well as this the rest of the way, L.A. will be absolutely thrilled.

But even if Kim falls off, he'll always have that special Saturday night in Los Angeles, when he put together an evening never before seen in the history of Major League Baseball.
