The Los Angeles Dodgers could be in the market for an outfielder in the next couple of days. They could swing a blockbuster trade for an All-Star to replace Michael Conforto.
Conforto has struggled this season, and the Dodgers have given him more than enough time to turn things around. The Cleveland Guardians are reportedly "trying to move" Steven Kwan, according to MLB insider Mark Feinsand. He would be a great fit for the Dodgers.
Kwan is under club control through 2027 and would not be cheap. Bleacher Report's Kerry Miller proposed this trade that would get Kwan in Los Angeles:
- Dodgers receive: Steven Kwan
- Guardians receive: Zyhir Hope and Jackson Ferris
Kwan is a massive upgrade over Conforto. He is a two-time All-Star and three-time Gold Glover. He is slashing .286/351/.410 on the year and would be a consistent hitter in the Dodgers lineup. However, the question will be how aggressive the Dodgers want to be.

They are getting healthy again and may feel that is enough to get them through October and back to the World Series. However, the rest of the National League is not going to sit around and not make moves. The Dodgers may have no choice but to be aggressive in replacing Conforto. Trading two of their best prospects for Kwan would be a move that not only helps this season but could solidify their outfield for the next few seasons. Andy Pages, Kwan and Teoscar Hernández are a great trio for the team to rely on.
