Blake Snell peaks in the postseason.
He put up another dominant outing for the Los Angeles Dodgers on Monday night, and it made MLB history in the process.
OptaStats came up with this gem:
"Blake Snell now has 4 career postseason outings with 9+ strikeouts and no more than 2 hits allowed. That's the most by any pitcher in MLB postseason history."
That's amazing.
There are so many legends of the game who got lots of time in the playoffs.

Snell stands above all of them in this category that essentially just screams dominance.
He began his great postseason work with the Tampa Bay Rays and has carried it into the latter stages of his career.
Snell actually had one of his most dominant outings against the Dodgers in the 2020 World Series, but the Rays pulled him from that game prematurely and it backfired.
Now, the Dodgers won't be pulling Snell when they don't have to. He's the best thing they've got going for them when he's on the mound.
Snell's victory was especially big Monday night for what it meant for the NLDS against the Philadelphia Phillies.
The Dodgers were already up a game to none in the best-of-five series. Being up 2-0 makes it quite unlikely that the Phillies can make it back in the series.
If L.A. gets its way, the series will be closed out in Game 3. But even if not, the Dodgers are in total control to get this done.
