There's never been a top of the first inning at Fenway Park like the Angels had on Monday night.

That's a lot of first innings, considering Fenway Park has been holding MLB games for 113 years.

But there the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim were right off the bat, accomplishing a first.

The feat: The Angels hit three home runs. A visiting team had never hit three homers in the first inning at Fenway.

Fenway Park opened in 1912, and it even hosted the Boston Braves for a time (none of their opponents did it, either).

It was the 8,974th game played at Fenway Park, between the regular season and postseason.

Zach Neto started the party with a leadoff home run, taking a 2-2 pitch over the Green Monster for his 10th jack of the season.

Mike Trout added a three-run home run that traveled 454 feet.

Jo Adell followed right up by reaching Lansdowne Street beyond the Green Monster for a 6-0 lead.

The Angels needed every bit of that. They held on late to win 7-6.
