The Kansas City Royals won the first game of their doubleheader on Saturday to move to 51-51 on the season. The Royals are making a move at the American League Central, and also the wildcard.
Kansas City, during their second game of the day at home against Cleveland made a trade with the Arizona Diamondbacks.

The Royals have acquired Randal Grichuck.
The Kansas City Royals are acquiring outfielder Randal Grichuk in a deal with the Arizona Diamondbacks, sources tell ESPN.

Grichuk has played 69 games this season, and is hitting .243. He has seven home runs and driven in 22 runs on the season. The 33-year old right hander last played on Wednesday, where he went 0-for-4 with a strikeout against the Houston Astros.
In return, the Royals have sent right handed pitcher Andrew Hoffman to Arizona.
