Cleveland took the lead in the third inning on a George Valera home run to center field. Steven Kwan added to it in the fifth inning, and then Jose Ramirez smacked his 33rd double to drive in two more, and the party was on in Cleveland.
The two teams will wrap up the three-game series Thursday night in Cleveland. The game is basically as much of a must-win game as the Tigers have had all season long. Cleveland will send Parker Messick to the mound. The Tigers have yet to announce their starter for Thursday.
