Elly De La Cruz continues to write legendary moments in Cincinnati Reds history.

He's playing through grief after the recent death of his sister, and on Saturday, he had a roller-coaster game.

Midway through the fourth inning on defense, De La Cruz threw up while standing out at his shortstop spot.

He was attended to and stayed in the game.

Three innings later, De La Cruz left the ballpark with a long blast.

There's nothing Elly can't do on a baseball field.

And more than anything, Saturday served as a good reminder of that.

Reds fans shouldn't take this guy for granted, because they don't make many like Elly.
