Alex Bregman made a bit of history just by taking the field for the Boston Red Sox on Tuesday night in Yankee Stadium.
The start at third base marked his 100th career postseason game.
He's the eighth player in MLB history to reach 100 postseason games played.
The full list, via MLB Network's Sarah Langs:

- Jorge Posada 125
- Bernie Williams 121
- David Justice 112
- Manny Ramirez 111
- Jose Altuve 105
- Yadier Molina 104
- Alex Bregman 100

Of course, the older versions of the postseason didn't have as many rounds. That's why it's all relatively recent players to populate this list.
It's still a cool club for Bregman to be a part of, though.
He got the first 99 of those appearances with the Houston Astros, and Tuesday marked his first postseason game with Boston.
The Red Sox will be hoping there's at least a few more. They'd love to advance past their huge rival New York Yankees and get a chance at the Toronto Blue Jays in the ALDS. Bregman will have to play a key part in that.
