The Baltimore Orioles are one of the more active teams this offseason around Major League Baseball, with their additions of Taylor Ward via trade and Ryan Helsley through a $28 million free agent deal just being the beginning of their offseason plans.

Next on the list of to-dos for Baltimore is adding a starting pitcher, and one of Ranger Suarez, Framber Valdez, or Michael King seems like the top options. But outside of the pitching market, the Orioles are also open to adding a top hitter this winter.

Kyle Tucker is an obvious target, as are Cody Bellinger and Kyle Schwarber. But what about Bo Bichette and Alex Bregman? Will Sammon and Ken Rosenthal of The Athletic revealed what the Orioles plan is for Bichette and Bregman, and it's not a major surprise.

"Neither Bichette nor Bregman is on their wish list." Rosenthal and Sammon write. "The Orioles are set in their infield, other than first base."

This report from Rosenthal and Sammon makes it clear: Bichette and Bregman, along with any other non-first base infielder, are not likely to come to Baltimore.

Barring a surprise trade of one of their established options, the Orioles will be focusing on a potential first base addition, a designated hitter in someone like Schwarber, or an outfielder like Tucker.

Gunnar Henderson, Jackson Holliday, and Jordan Westburg have the infield locked up. And while first base is an option, Samuel Basallo could take over a majority of the playing time for the Orioles at first base.

The Orioles' priorities for the remainder of the winter are coming into focus, with a star like Kyle Tucker or Kyle Schwarber on the table, while Bregman and Bichette aren't options in free agency.

Add on that a starting pitcher is likely the biggest priority this offseason for Baltimore, and most infielders are clearly off the table for the Orioles this winter.

Bregman, Bichette, and a trade for Ketel Marte are not options for the Orioles this offseason, based on their report. Baltimore is set with their infield, and will focus on the outfield, designated hitter, and most importantly, the rotation for the rest of the offseason.
