Trey Mancini is going to keep swinging it.

The former Baltimore Orioles star has agreed to a free agent contract with the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim, according to The Athletic's Ken Rosenthal.

It's a minor-league deal, and Mancini will try to make the major league ballclub in Spring Training.

Mancini is most known for his six seasons on the field with the Orioles, when he hit.270 with a.797 OPS. In 701 games, he hit 117 home runs.

He then played 51 games with the Houston Astros (and won a World Series ring) and 79 games with the Chicago Cubs.

His last MLB action was with the Cubs in 2023.

Mancini didn't play in 2024.

In 2025, he came back to play for Reno in Triple-A, the Arizona Diamondbacks' affiliate.

He hit.308 in 74 games with Reno with 16 doubles, 16 homers and an.895 OPS.

Mancini will turn 34 years old in March. At Triple-A in 2025, he played 60 games at first base and also had three appearances in left field.

The Angels aren't loaded with talent, and Mancini is a strong veteran presence, so he's probably got a legitimate chance to break back through and get more time in the major leagues.
