The MLB offseason has officially begun, and the Atlanta Braves are still in search of a new manager.
The majority of the MLB organizations have already filled their vacant manager positions, but it was reported in late October that the Braves were awaiting the conclusion of the Fall Classic before hiring a new head of the clubhouse. That might be because the Los Angeles Dodgers' bench coach, Danny Lehmann, may be the frontrunner for the open spot.

Braves new manager date?
The free agency period for teams to sign new players in MLB is less than a week away, and the Braves still do not have a manager.
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution's Gabriel Burns had this to say about the manager vacancy in Atlanta:
"And Dodgers bench coach Danny Lehmann, commonly perceived as the Braves’ preferred choice, is available after his team’s thrilling Game 7 victory in the World Series on Saturday night in Toronto."

With the Fall Classic in the rearview, the Atlanta Braves' managerial search should ramp up, and a decision could potentially be made in the next couple of days.
Jon Morosi of MLB Network also reported that since the Dodgers won the World Series, the managerial opportunities for Danny Lehmann are clearer.
Lehmann is a young coach at the moment, and he follows an analytically-driven style, which might be exactly what the Braves are looking for in their new managerial search.
