The Atlanta Braves have been a bit busy this winter, signing Ha-Seong Kim, Mike Yastrzemski, and Robert Suarez to free agent contracts.
With the bullpen, the infield, and the outfield seemingly set, the only main need left is in the starting rotation. While Spencer Strider and Chris Sale are great, another top starter would help a lot.
According to Jesse Rogers of ESPN, the Braves are one of many teams named as a possible landing spot for a top free agent starter this winter.
Braves linked to top SP to pair with Strider, Sale
"The Mets, Cubs, A's, Braves, and perhaps Yankees and Angels are viewed among teams that could use another starter," Rogers writes.
A few tough teams, like the New York Yankees, New York Mets, and the Chicago Cubs, will have to be contended with, but the Los Angeles Angels and Athletics should beat the Braves this winter in the rotation market.
Atlanta is a landing spot for a top starter this winter, and a few of the remaining names have been linked to them at times this offseason.
Zac Gallen, Ranger Suarez, Framber Valdez, Zack Littell, and Lucas Giolito are among the best starters left on the market this winter.

While there are a few trade candidates, like MacKenzie Gore, Edward Cabrera, and Freddy Peralta, the Braves are not likely to be involved in those markets like they would the free agent pool.
The Braves don't need to add to their other areas of the roster, but another starter to pair with Strider and Sale would be a nice addition.
Stealing Suarez from the Philadelphia Phillies would be a fun move, as the 1.48 postseason ERA lefty would be a great complement to the rotation and speed of Sale and Strider.
But, regardless of who the Braves target, another starter should be high on their list of priorities this winter. This report from Rogers has them connected to another starter, which is hardly a surprise considering their needs left after some spending this winter.
