Many Atlanta Braves fans would love to forget the 2025 season. They finished the regular season with a record of 76-86 and missed the postseason for the first time since the 2017 season.

Injuries played a big part in the club's downfall last year. At one point, the entire starting rotation was on the IL while key contributors on the offense like Ronald Acuna Jr., Austin Riley, Ozzie Albies, and Sean Murphy all missed time with injuries.

Now, much of the lineup will head to camp healthy, and the front office has been able to make some great additions over the winter so far. Fans should feel confident about where their team sits at this point during the offseason.

The front office has kept itself plenty busy this winter. They have made multiple additions that should help strengthen the team and put them in a solid position to fight in the NL East.

They re-signed Raisel Iglesias and struck a deal with Robert Suarez to help shore up the bullpen. They also re-signed Ha-Seong Kim to man shortstop and signed Mike Yastrzemski to a one-year deal, and he could be a player to watch out for in 2026.

With the core returning and the additions the front office made so far this winter, Bleacher Report's Zachary D. Rymer has full faith that the Braves can bounce back in a major way during the 2026 season.

"Last year was Atlanta's ugliest season in a long time, but it wasn't for a lack of star power. And since most of those stars are back in tandem with the newcomers, it'sa not surprising that they project behind only the Los Angeles Dodgers and Toronto Blue Jays in WAR for the coming season."

It will be hard to keep this team down for two seasons in a row. Expect this team to rebound and come into the 2026 season with a chip on their shoulder and something to prove.
