The Atlanta Braves came into the 2025 season making the postseason for the last seven years. However, that season would be a different story as Atlanta would have trouble getting much going.

Injuries played a big role in their missing the postseason for the first time since the 2017 season. The fanbase would love for the club to return to glory in 2026, and the front office has done its best to acquire players who can play a significant role in the 2026 season.

Atlanta has signed multiple players, including Ha-Seong Kim, Robert Suarez, Mike Yastrzemski, Raisel Iglesias, and Tyler Kinley. They also acquired Marucicio Dubon, Ken Waldichuk, and George Soriano in trades.

Atlanta has certainly gone out and filled a few holes it desperately needed to fill. The bullpen got a huge upgrade with the Suarez signing. He will be the high-leverage arm that gets the ball to Iglesias in the ninth. Kim will also play a huge role, and coming into the new season healthy, he is a player who could turn tons of heads this summer.

With what they have done so far, as long as they stay healthy, they should be a contender in the NL East. ESPN also likes where Atlanta is sitting, placing them second behind the Los Angeles Dodgers in their Midwinter Progress Report

"The Braves have quieted down since mid-December after a torrid start to the offseason. The Braves would have projected to bounce back strong from last year's debacle no matter what, but the reinforcements have the roster looking strong."

Now, Atlanta has not filled all their holes. They could still use another frontline starter to pair with Chris Sale and Spencer Strider, and luckily for them, there are still some solid options sitting on the open market.
