The guy with a case as the greatest running back career in Ohio high school football history has earned the highest honor in the state.
Indian Valley's Grady Kinsey is Ohio Mr. Football.
He won the award over the runner-up, QB Brayden DeVito of Shelby, and the third-place finisher, QB Matt Ponatoski of Archbishop Moeller.

Why Grady Kinsey is Ohio Mr. Football winner
Kinsey put together a legendary career at Indian Valley.
He finished as the state's all-time leader in rushing touchdowns for a career.
Kinsey led Indian Valley to a Division IV state championship as a junior. This season, IV lost in the state semifinal to Glenville.
This season, Kinsey ran for 2,703 yards on 231 carries, which works out to double-digit yardage per rush. He had 42 touchdowns.
Kinsey is committed to Air Force.

Why Brayden DeVito is Ohio Mr. Football runner-up
Kinsey recorded 107 total voting points. DeVito got 96, just behind. Both, incredibly, are committed to Air Force.
This season, DeVito has thrown for 41 touchdowns, run for 26 more TDs and returned both a fumble and an interception for six.
In his career, DeVito accumulated more than 200 touchdowns when accounting for passes, runs, receptions and defensive scores.
DeVito will lead the Whippets into the Division IV state championship game on Friday morning at 10:30 a.m. Against Glenville. It's Shelby's first-ever appearance in the state football final.
