U.S. Open 2019 betting odds: Brooks Koepka opens as 5-1; Tiger Woods (12-1) third image

Brooks Koepka's second consecutive PGA Championship victory impressed Las Vegas enough that it thinks he's ready to do something historic: win a third consecutive U.S. Open.

The Westgate SuperBook opened Koepka, 29, as a 5-1 pick to win next month at Pebble Beach.

Koepka won last year's U.S. Open at Shinnecock Hills and the 2017 tournament at Erin Hills. Only Scottish golfer Willie Anderson (1903-05) has won three straight.

Sunday's victory at Bethpage Black was Koepka's fourth career major championship. After faltering in the final round, he edged out Dustin Johnson. Not coincidentally, Johnson opened at 8-1 to win the U.S. Open, back of only Koepka.

Tiger Woods, who missed the cut at the PGA, opened as the third pick at 12-1.

The 2019 U.S. Open is scheduled for June 13-16 at Pebble Beach.

Here are the betting odds for the 2019 U.S. Open:
