Scottie Scheffler is the best golfer on the planet. The Colorado Rockies are the worst MLB team, maybe, ever.
What do they have in common?
Since May 2, they each have three wins.
Clearly, that's much more impressive for the golfer who plays in one tournament a week against dozens and dozens of competitors as opposed to the baseball team that plays almost every day against just one other opponent.
Scheffler has played in four tournaments since the beginning of May:
- Byron Nelson: Win (-31)
- PGA Championship: Win (-11)
- Charles Schwab Challenge: T4 (-8)
- The Memorial Tournament: Win (-10)
His win in the Memorial on Sunday made this stat complete.
The Rockies have played 28 games beginning with a loss on May 2.

So in this span, they're 3-25. They beat the Padres 9-3 on May 11, the Diamondbacks 14-12 on May 17 and the Yankees 3-2 on May 23.
Interspersed were an eight-game losing streak, a four-game losing streak, a five-game losing streak and a currently active eight-game losing streak that is alive after the Rockies lost again to the Mets on Sunday.
This is what it looks like when one man is ruling his sport and the other is threatening for infamy in its sport.
Scheffler reigns, and the Rockies are wrecked.
