Scottie Scheffler hits best drive of his career to take lead at PGA Championship image

Scottie Scheffler is one of the most dynamic golfers right now.

He showed another flash of brilliance at the PGA Championship this weekend.

On hole 14 at Quail Hollow, Scheffler sent a drive over 300 yards to set himself up for an easy Eagle putt. It was sensational and earned Scheffler the outright lead.

Scheffler has been competing at the top of the leaderboard with golfers like Bryson DeChambeau and Sweden's Alex Norén. This shot, would could be considered one of the best drives of the year thus far, was a huge help in Scottie climbing the leaderboard.

The American had another highlight drive on hole 4 earlier in the day.

If he keeps making incredible shots like these, he'll take the tournament.

Scheffler has yet to win the PGA Championship, so there's a lot at stake this weekend.

When the lights are the brightest, Scottie is sure to be at his best.
