Being Ted Scott isn't a bad gig.
He's Scottie Scheffler's caddie, and they're having quite the season together.
In fact, Golf Digest released a crazy stat:
- This season, Scott has earned $1.92 million
- The average PGA Tour golfer this season has made $1.73 million
Life is good as Scheffler's caddie.
With the way Scheffler is going, it feels like Scott could advise him of anything and somehow Scheffler would put the ball a few feet from the hole.
Scheffler has won a pair of majors this year, the PGA Championship and the recently completed Open Championship.
He dominated at Royal Portrush over the weekend in Northern Ireland, shooting 17-under and winning by four shots in a tournament that didn't even feel that close.
Scott was there for the whole journey, providing solid counsel.
Together, Scheffler and Scott make quite the pair.
